Wales Alliance for Citizen Directed Support 2012 Conference and Annual General Meeting and WCVA / Network 3

Wales Alliance for Citizen Directed Support are joining forces with the Wales Council for Voluntary Action Network 3 to put together a day that will be exciting and an important step forward to making Citizen Directed Support a reality for the people of Wales.

Jane Hutt AM, (Minister for Finance & Leader of the House) will be talking about the Welsh Government's Framework for Action on Independent Living. In the afternoon cooperative development specialist Mick Taylor and Executive Director of the British Columbia Cooperative Association John Restakis will talk about Cooperative Approaches to Social Services in Wales.

The event will close with members and supporting organisations pledging the action that they will take to make Citizen Directed Support a reality for the people around them.
