Together for Public Health: Welsh Public Health Conference 2012

18 July, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff

The conference, titled ‘Together for Public Health’ is the second Public Health Conference to be held in Wales. Jointly organised by Public Health Wales and the Welsh Government and in partnership with the Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) and Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA). The 2011 conference attracted policy makers, leaders and public health professionals from across the public sector.

The objectives of the conference are to:

• Develop understanding and learning on the public health contribution to Together for Health
• Take forward public health action specified in Together for Health
• Inform policy making and practice; and
• Raise the profile of public health in Wales.
