Re-enabling Rural Communities: Understanding rural culture for health and social care service planning

This exciting event is being organised by WCVA and the 6 county voluntary councils across north Wales, funded through Welsh Government’s Rural Health Innovation Fund (RHIF). The aim of the event is to share learning from the Third Sector RHIF projects; examine rural culture in North Wales; and explore solutions around access, integration and community engagement that can be achieved through third sector delivery.

Delegates will have:

  • Learnt about the three Third Sector projects and their key findings, including a session looking at community engagement
  • Examined challenges, opportunities and possible solutions for rural communities
  • Networked with other participants and considered opportunities for working collaboratively
  • Learnt about Action Learning Sets and the opportunity to participate in a Rural Health Plan Action Learning Set to tackle issues identified through the conference (funded through RHIF)
