Planning Aid Wales

Planning Aid Wales is an independent charity helping communities in Wales to engage with the planning system. It operates a Helpline advice service, publishes guidance publications on a range of planning topics and delivers training. Its primary aim is to help communities shape their local environment through positive engagement with the planning system.

The Welsh planning system gives local communities opportunities to get involved in developing planning policy, usually through participation in preparing a development plan.
