Democracy in Action in Wales

31 May 2012

The National Assembly for Wales is running a photography competition in partnership with Ffotogallery and the University of Wales, Newport. The photos should show democracy in action in Wales.

You don’t need to be a photographer, or even have a fancy camera. We’re just as keen to see blurry shots taken with your phone as we are to look at crisp images from a digital camera.

As long your photos illustrate the power we have as Welsh citizens to change our country, then we want to see them.

As well as giving you the opportunity to win some great prizes (which include photography courses and two digital cameras), your photographs will add to an historical, visual record of Wales during this unique period in the history of Welsh devolution.

The website for the competition is here: www.democracyinactioninwales.org, and we’re also on Twitter @diaiw2012.
