New meeting dates for participation networks

16 Oct 2009

The participation networks are lively, participatory workshops which provide an opportunity for peers to engage, share and support each other. The South West Wales and South East Wales participation networks will be meeting on the following dates:

South West Wales Participation Network
Tuesday 24 November 2009, 10.00 – 12.00, The Environment Centre, Swansea

South East Wales Participation Network
Thursday 10 December 2009, 10.00 – 12.00, WCVA Cardiff

These events are free of charge. Capacity is limited and places will be allocated on a first-come first served basis.

WCVA encourages car sharing to all of its training courses and events – all are listed on www.whq.org.uk/carshareforum should you wish to offer or look for a lift to the events.

There are participation networks across Wales which are open to all trained practitioners. They provide an invaluable opportunity to:

  • Meet other practitioners in your area
  • Share good practice
  • Share ideas
  • Problem solve
  • Develop participatory skills
  • Acquire new skills

There are existing networks in Gwynedd, Caerphilly, South East and South West Wales. If there is no network in your area we are able to provide support to set one up. To join a network, please complete the contact form. The Gwynedd facilitators network is run independently, for more information please visit www.hwyluswyrgwynedd.org.uk.
